We are creating a new position of DevOps Engineer within our software team to streamline the testing of our flagship product, SoundCheck, and reduce time to market. DevOps will be responsible for developing automated test tools that minimize the human component of our test process and lead to continuous integration of SoundCheck.
DevOps will work closely with both the Software Development and Software Test teams to gather validation requirements for tasks such as smoke testing, integration testing, etc.. DevOps will then design and build an integration test framework to run reliable automated tests to validate SoundCheck. In addition, the role will also involve maintaining and improving our continuous integration systems using a combination of Jenkins, Python, and LabVIEW, and maintaining and developing our licensing utility using Python. DevOps will also design and build analysis tools to explore performance, test, and other related systems data.
This is an opportunity to build a test system from the ground up, and then continue to refine and develop it as new software features are added in each release. As the only DevOps engineer, you will have a high level of autonomy and responsibility from day 1, but with the support and camaraderie of a small team of programmers. Restrictions
